When a booking can be cancelled, and how refunds are calculated and processed.
This policy outlines the terms under which bookings made on https://kaikai.africa ("Kaikai Travel") may be cancelled and refunds processed. By making a booking, you agree to the terms set out below.

Cancellation requests are processed within 3–5 business days.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure, supplier failure, minimum participation not met, etc.):
Note: Kaikai Travel is not liable for any additional costs incurred (flights, accommodation, visas, etc.) arranged independently of the cancelled package.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
All refunds are processed in the original transaction currency (BWP unless otherwise stated). Any exchange rate fluctuations are the responsibility of the customer.
If we need to make a significant change to your booking (e.g., change of accommodation, itinerary modification):
If you or a travelling companion are unable to travel due to a verifiable medical emergency, we may, at our discretion:
In the event of the death of a traveller or immediate family member, a full refund will be provided (supporting documentation required).
If a government-issued travel advisory (Level 4: Do Not Travel) is issued for your destination after booking, you may cancel and receive a credit note or refund as determined on a case-by-case basis.
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, war, civil unrest, terrorism, government actions, or severe weather. In such cases, we will work with you to find a reasonable solution but cannot guarantee refunds.
